A new bicoloured variety, yellow, dark orange striped.
A very attractively colored, flattened pumpkin with light warts. 15–20 cm in diameter, weighing about 2 kg. Very robust and hard-shelled, it has a long shelf life.
Compact growth with a good yield, approximately 5–6 fruits per plant. The flesh is of inferior quality and therefore unsuitable for consumption.
Warty Gnome F1 has a high ornamental value, the flesh is edible, but not comparable to that of other pumpkins and not recommended.
Maturation time: 95 days.
Warty Gnome F1 grows bushy.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils. Sow early and plant out from late April or sow directly from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Warty Gnome F1 we recommend approximately 1 square meter of space per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
