An unusually beautiful colored Sweet Dumpling, which, in our opinion, bears this name unjustly. The fruit weighs around 600 grams. The fruits are golden brown with green stripes.
This variety is considered one of the tastiest dumpling varieties in the US. It has a compact growth habit.
Maturation time: 100 days.
Rank behaviour: compact.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils. Sow early and plant out from late April or sow directly from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
The planting distance for pumpkins depends on the tendril behaviour.
