Small, really white pumpkin for decoration.
A beautifully shaped novelty in white. The very uniform fruits weigh only about 800–1,000 g and are very attractive due to their very round shape and attractive stem.
The color lasts quite a long time. To completely prevent the white fruit from turning yellow, the fruit is harvested and stored in a dark place.
Snowball F1 is suitable for consumption.
Maturation time: 90 days.
Snowball F1 grows compact.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivated and planted out by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Snowball F1 we recommend 1–2 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, powdery mildew, viruses.
