Blocky, round cutting pumpkin with a stable, dark colour, slightly ribbed.
The weight ranges from approximately 3–5 kg, usually 4–5 kg. Compact growth and tolerance to powdery mildew (PMT) make this variety a good choice for cultivation.
Maturation time: 90 days.
Skidoo Gold F1 produces short tendrils.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivated and planted out by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Skidoo Gold F1 we recommend approx. 1–2 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, powdery mildew, viruses.
