Scream II F1 is an attractive pumpkin for cutting, beautifully ribbed and colored, weighing approximately 8 kg and round to high-round in shape.
Compact growth with a good yield, approximately 3–4 fruits per plant. The stem is not very strong, but is well-proportioned to the fruit.
The variety is suitable for consumption, for example in pumpkin soup.
Maturation time: 90 days.
Scream II F1 ranks compact.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivated and planted out by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Scream II F1 PMT we recommend approx. 1–2 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
