Greatly improved Jack be Little.
Fantastic! Bright orange, about 10 cm tall, with a beautiful stem, more productive and beautiful than Jack be Little, larger than Jill be Little, and larger and better colored than Gold Dust F1.
SAM Orange impresses with its yield and early color, which isn't pure orange but develops yellow hues when fully ripe. It's highly resistant to powdery mildew.
SAM Orange is suitable for consumption, for example as a microwave pumpkin.
Maturation time: 90 days.
SAM Orange grows as a climber.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivated and planted out by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For SAM Orange we recommend 2 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
