Rocket F1 is considered the standard variety in its class.
Rocket F1 is very round, slightly ribbed, bright orange, sturdy, and weighs approximately 6–9 kg. The plants grow healthily and are quite robust.
Halloween pumpkin with high ornamental value, less suitable for the kitchen.
Maturation time: 95 days.
Rocket F1 ranks mediocre.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivated and planted out by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
The planting distance for pumpkins depends on the tendril behaviour.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
