Very nice and stable small pumpkin.
Rascal F1 is certainly one of the top varieties in the smaller size range. Weighing approximately 2.0–3.0 kg, the fruits are impressive in shape and color, as well as their attractive, sturdy stems.
The deep orange fruits are beautifully ribbed. They produce abundant fruit with compact, trailing growth. This variety is highly tolerant of powdery mildew.
The variety is suitable for consumption, for example in pumpkin soup.

C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivated and planted out by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Rascal F1 PMT we recommend approx. 1–2 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
