Halloween pumpkin in the well-known Racer variety with mildew tolerance. Racer Plus PMT F1 is an improvement on the globally popular Racer F1.
The very attractive, ribbed, and round fruits are slightly larger than those of Racer F1, weighing 6.5 to 8 kg. Tolerance and resistance to mildew mean the fruits are more beautifully shaped and the stems remain firmer longer.
Maturation time: 85 days.
Racer Plus F1 PMT grows compact.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivated and planted out by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Racer Plus F1 PMT we recommend approximately 2 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
