Polo F1 produces fairly uniform, white fruits with a ripening diameter of about 15 cm. Unlike Custard White, the fruits are not as flat, but rather slightly bell-shaped.

Pattypan squash, and especially this variety, are often harvested unripe at a young stage and can then be prepared like zucchini.

Pattypan squashes are beautiful ornamental gourds when ripe. Harvested young, they can be used like zucchini.

Maturation period: 50–80 days.

Polo F1 grows bushy.

C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivated and planted out by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.

Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.

For Polo F1 we ​​recommend approximately 1 m² per plant.
