Pre-sowing: from the end of April indoors or in the greenhouse.
Direct sowing: from early May as soon as the soil has warmed up.
Germination temperature: 24–30 °C for fastest and safest germination.
Place the seeds pointed side down or lay them flat on the ground.
Do not keep too wet to prevent germination fungi.
After germination, seedlings should be moved to a brighter, cooler location so they remain firm and compact.
