Round, small pumpkin, ideal size for children, weighing around 2 kg.
Beautifully ribbed with a dark green, attractively shaped stem. Compact vines and mildew tolerance (PMT) make this variety very suitable for cultivation.
Maturation period: 95–100 days.
Pipsqueak F1 grows with short tendrils.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivated and planted out by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Pipsqueak F1 PMT we recommend approx. 1–1.5 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
