Mystic F1 is a highlight in the 3 kg class, popular with children.
The fruits, weighing between 2 and 3 kg, are very uniform, dark orange, round, smooth and quite firm.
Mystic F1 produces well and reliably. The fruits are definitely suitable for culinary use.
Maturation time: 95 days.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivated and planted out by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
Mystic F1 grows weakly as a vine and needs about 2 m² of space per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
