This variety is characterised by a very beautiful round-high round shape and an attractive, dark colour.
Magic Lantern F1 is suitable for consumption, for example in pumpkin soup.

C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivated and planted out by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Magic Lantern F1 we recommend 2–3 square meters per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
