Large carving pumpkin in a class of its own.
Kratos F1 bears round fruits of about 9–12 kg, bright orange in colour and nicely ribbed, round to slightly flattened-round.
The overall appearance is extremely harmonious and is completed by the beautiful dark green stem.
Kratos F1 is resistant to powdery mildew (PMT) and vigorous with a compact growth habit.
Maturation time: 110 days.
Kratos F1 grows with short tendrils.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivated and planted out by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Kratos F1 we recommend 1–2 square meters per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
