Halloween pumpkin with high ornamental value, less suitable for the kitchen.

C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivated and planted out by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24-30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Howden we recommend 2 square meters of space per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
