Absolute novelty, Mini-Acorn.
A variety from the US. At only about 400g, the green fruits can easily be stuffed and/or cooked whole. Definitely worth experimenting with in the microwave.
Very suitable for filling and cooking.
Maturation time: 90 days.
Honey Bear F1 does not rank.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-cultivated and planted out by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24-30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Honey Bear F1 we recommend 1 square meter per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
