Very beautiful, golden-yellow variety, striking, uniform in shape, high yield, slightly smaller at maturity at 12–15 cm.
Recommended for young harvest as summer squash.
Maturation time: 80 days.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-grown and planted by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
Pattypans require little space, usually 1 square meter per plant is sufficient.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
