Round, mildew-resistant lantern pumpkin in a class of its own.
Gladiator F1 bears round fruits of about 8–11 kg, bright orange in colour and nicely ribbed, round to slightly rounded.
The overall extremely harmonious appearance is complemented by the beautiful, dark green stem.
Gladiator F1 is powdery mildew resistant (PMT), vigorous and produces an average of 1–2 fruits per plant.
Maturation period: 90–100 days.
Gladiator F1 ranks mediocre.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-grown and planted by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Gladiator F1 we recommend 2 square meters per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
