Warty, beautiful colors, ripening slightly later than the standard warty mix, 6–8 cm in size. Dandy produces a wide variety of fruits; light or even white varieties are not included in this top mix.
Real ornamental pumpkin, not suitable for consumption.
Maturation time: 90 days.
Dandy mixture ranks mediocre.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-grown and planted by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
The planting distance for pumpkins depends on the tendril behaviour.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
