Exceptional, very large lantern pumpkin.
Cronus F1 produces round, robust fruits weighing between 12 and 22 kg. Lightly ribbed and dark orange, these fruits, crowned by a beautiful and strong stem, are impressive.
Cronus F1 is powdery mildew resistant (PMT), very vigorous, and produces an average of about 1-2 fruits per plant. The plants require plenty of space.
The pulp of this variety can also be used for pumpkin soup.
Maturation period: 100-110 days.
Cronus F1 ranks strongly.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-grown and planted by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24-30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Cronus F1 we recommend approximately 3-4 square meters per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
