Cougar F1 bears round fruits of about 5-7 kg, bright orange in colour and slightly ribbed, round to slightly round.
The exceptionally harmoniously shaped fruits are complemented by the beautiful dark green stem. Cougar F1 is mildew-resistant (PMT) and grows compactly with short tendrils.
Maturation time: 85 days.
Cougar F1 produces short tendrils.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-grown and planted by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24-30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Cougar F1 we recommend approximately 1-2 square meters per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
