A large pumpkin with early ripening.
Champion F1 bears beautifully ribbed and upright fruits weighing approximately 12 to 18 kg, which are very suitable for front door decoration.
Champion F1 is characterized by relatively early ripeness. Comparable varieties require about 10-20 days longer.
This variety can also be used for pumpkin soup.
Maturation time: 90 days.
Champion F1 ranks moderately.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-grown and planted by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24-30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Champion F1 we recommend 2 square meters per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
