Extraordinary, small white ornamental pumpkin.
Casperita F1 PMT is a unique Baby Boo-type variety. Weighing approximately 300 to 600 g, Casperita F1 is about three times larger than the well-known variety.
The fruits are whiter, more beautifully ribbed, and much more uniform. Furthermore, Casperita F1 is genetically resistant to powdery mildew and highly tolerant to mosaic virus.
The white color lasts for a long time. As with all white pumpkins, Casperita F1 should be stored in a dark place to maintain its whiteness.
Excellent for decoration, but also suitable for stuffing and cooking. Casperita F1 is also suitable in the kitchen as a portion squash, whole, stuffed, and cooked.
Maturation time: 90 days.
Casperita F1 grows bushy.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-grown and planted by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24-30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Casperita F1 we recommend 1 square meter per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
