Carrie F1 produces beautifully coloured fruits with light ribs and a weight of approximately 7-8 kg.
The fruits, which are mainly round to slightly round, are quite durable and have a well-proportioned stem.
The plants grow compactly with short tendrils. They are powdery mildew tolerant (PMT).
Maturation time: 95 days.
Carrie F1 has compact climbing behaviour.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-grown and planted by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24-30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Carrie F1 we recommend approximately 1-2 square meters per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
