Stable, large lantern pumpkin.
Cargo F1 produces bright orange, only slightly ribbed, very round fruits weighing approximately 9-12 kg. The overall, extremely harmonious appearance is completed by the attractive, dark green stem.
Cargo F1 is mildew resistant (PMT), grows very compact and bears an average of 2 fruits per plant.
The pulp of this variety can also be used in pumpkin soup.
Maturation period: 95-100 days.
Cargo F1 ranks moderately.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soils, pre-grown and planted by sowing from late April or direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24-30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cooler location.
For Cargo F1 we recommend approximately 1.5-2 square meters per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
