Our replacement for Mars F1.
A beautiful, dark orange, round, slicing pumpkin with a high degree of uniformity. It weighs around 2–3 kg, and the stem is distinct and well-proportioned to the fruit.
The plants grow compactly. The fruits resemble those of the Mars F1 variety, which we are replacing with this variety.
The variety is suitable for consumption, for example in pumpkin soup.
Maturation period: 90–95 days.
Buzz F1 PMT ranks short.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soil, with pre-cultivation and planting out by sowing from late April or by direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination temperature: 24–30°C. Sow with the pointed end of the seed facing down or lay it flat. Don't keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool place.
For Buzz F1 PMT we recommend approximately 1–2 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
