Barrel F1 bears round to slightly flattened fruits of about 8 kg, dark orange in colour and lightly ribbed.
The stem is well-proportioned, but not too long. Barrel F1 is powdery mildew resistant (PMT), vigorous, and produces an average of about 2–3 fruits per plant.
Maturation time: 95 days.

C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soil, with pre-cultivation and planting out by sowing from late April or by direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination temperature: 24–30°C. Sow with the pointed end of the seed facing down or lay it flat. Don't keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool place.
For Barrel F1 PMT we recommend approximately 1–2 square meters of space per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
