Very nice carving pumpkin in Howden format.
Beautifully colored and shaped pumpkin weighing 8–12 kg. Round to slightly round, very firm, and dark green-orange.
The compact growth, mildew tolerance and beautiful fruits make this variety very suitable for cultivation.
Maturation time: 110 days.
Apollo F1 grows with short tendrils.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soil, with pre-cultivation and planting out by sowing from late April, or by direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination temperature: 24–30°C. Sow with the pointed end of the seed facing down or lay it flat. Don't keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool place.
For Apollo F1 we recommend 1–2 m² of space per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
