Excellent, large lantern pumpkin.
Aladdin F1 bears slightly rounded fruits weighing about 12–20 kg, bright orange in colour and slightly ribbed.
Aladdin F1 is already a well-established ornamental variety with an attractive appearance. It is resistant to powdery mildew (PMT), vigorous, and produces an average of 1–2 fruits per plant.
The pulp of this variety can also be used in pumpkin soup.
Maturation time: 100 days.
Aladdin F1 normally ranks strong.
C. pepo grows well in warm, well-drained soil, with pre-cultivation and planting out by sowing from late April, or by direct sowing from early May.
Optimal germination temperature: 24–30°C. Sow with the pointed end of the seed facing down or lay it flat. Don't keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool place.
For Aladdin F1 we recommend 2–3 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
