Mini Musk produces ribbed, flattened fruits weighing about 3-5 kg, which turn from green to ochre as they ripen.
The fruits are produced in abundance with a moderately vining growth and are among the most popular pumpkins because of their dark, carotene-rich flesh.
Maturation time: 125 days.
Mini Musk ranks moderately.
Cucurbita moschata requires a lot of warmth and is therefore best grown early. Varieties with a ripening time of up to 110 days also thrive in colder regions.
Optimal germination occurs at 24-30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool location.
For Mini Musk we recommend approximately 2-3 square meters per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
