Zora F1 is a high-yielding, uniform and resilient Hokkaido.
The plants grow in a compact bush and bear approximately 3–4 round, red fruits weighing around 1.5 kg. Thanks to their compact growth, an excellent harvest is possible with a recommended planting density of approximately 8,000–10,000 plants per hectare.
The beautifully proportioned fruits have excellent flesh. The skin cooks gently in typical Hokkaido style, so peeling is unnecessary. Zora F1 is approved for professional cultivation.
Maturation time: 90 days.

Cucurbita maxima are generally robust and provide excellent nutrition. This variety thrives in warm, well-drained soil.
Pre-sowing and planting: sow from the end of April or sow directly from the beginning of May.
Optimal germination: at 24–30°C. Sow seeds pointed side down or lay them flat. Do not keep them too moist. After germination, place them in a bright, cooler location.
Recommended planting distance: 1–2 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
