Yuva F1 is a new variety within the Kabocha type, which is considered the standard in Japanese cuisine because of its excellent flesh quality.
Yuva F1 sets fruit well, producing fairly uniform fruits weighing 1.5–2 kg. The flesh is notable for its dark yellow color and exceptionally good flavor.
Maturation time: 90 days.

This variety grows well in warm, well-drained soils.
Pre-sowing and planting: sow from the end of April or sow directly from the beginning of May.
Optimal germination: at 24–30°C. Sow seeds pointed side down or lay them flat. Do not keep them too moist. After germination, place them in a bright, cooler location.
Recommended planting distance: 2 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
