This new color was bred for five years and developed as a sport in breeding. Today, the variety no longer exhibits false colors. Furthermore, it possesses all the characteristics of the Turban parent variety and appears in a beautiful white. " Sport" refers to natural genetic variations, usually in color. This occurs from time to time in nature.

White Turban should be harvested when ripe and stored in a dark place to prevent gray discoloration.

Maturation time: 90 days.

White Turban ranks mediocre.

This variety grows well in warm, well-drained soils.

Pre-sowing and planting: sow from the end of April or sow directly from the beginning of May.

Optimal germination: at 24–30°C. Sow seeds pointed side down or lay them flat. Do not keep them too moist. After germination, place them in a bright, cooler location.

Recommended planting distance: 2 m² per plant.

Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
