Sampson F1 produces very uniform gray-blue fruits weighing approximately 5 kg. Growth and fruit set are quite compact.
Sampson F1 has very good flesh quality and has an excellent shelf life.
The fruits are ideal for culinary use.

Sampson F1 ranks weak.
Cucurbita maxima are generally robust and provide excellent food. The variety thrives in warm, well-drained soil.
Pre-sow and plant by sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, hold the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool location.
For Sampson F1 we recommend 1–2 square meters per plant.
