The compact growth allows for an excellent harvest with a recommended planting density of approximately 8 to 10,000 plants per hectare.
The well-proportioned fruits have excellent flesh; the skin cooks softly in typical Hokkaido style, i.e., the fruits do not need to be peeled.
Rabea F1 is excellent for use in the kitchen.

Cucurbita maxima are generally robust and provide excellent food. The variety thrives in warm, well-drained soil.
Pre-sow and plant by sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, hold the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool location.
For Rabea F1 we recommend 1–2 square meters per plant.
