The Porcelain Doll is a real eye-catcher as a decorative pumpkin for the door or on the patio.
The block-shaped fruits, which weigh about 10 kg, are heavily ribbed and shine in a pink hue previously unknown in pumpkins.
Porcelain Doll F1 is tolerant to mildew and produces best results when sown and planted early.
Maturation period: 100–110 days.
Porcelain Doll F1 ranks strongly.
This variety grows well in warm, well-drained soils.
Pre-sow and plant by sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, hold the pointed end of the seed downward or lay it flat. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool location.
For Porcelain Doll F1 we recommend 3 square meters per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, mildew, viruses.
