Marmito F1 produces beautiful, blocky fruits with orange-red skin. With a fruit weight of approximately 1–1.2 kg, the fruits are a good size for home consumption.
The compact, trailing plants are quite productive, producing 4 to 8 fruits. Fruit size may be smaller depending on growing conditions (e.g., drought).
Maturation time: 90 days.
Marmito F1 ranks compact.
This variety grows well in warm, well-drained soils.
Pre-cultivation and planting out by sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool location.
For Marmito F1 we recommend 1–2 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, powdery mildew, viruses.
