Justynka F1 rounds off the range of Hokkaido pumpkins very well.
With a uniform weight of approximately 3 kg, the very attractive shape and the good flesh, this variety should not be missing in cultivation.
Justynka F1 grows in a semi-bush shape, which enables a high planting density and therefore a high yield.
The fruits store and transport very well, making this variety also interesting for industrial cultivation. The skin color is pinkish-orange.
Justynka F1 is an excellent cooking pumpkin.
Maturation time: 90 days.
Justynka F1 ranks compact.
Cucurbita maxima are generally robust and provide excellent nutrition. This variety thrives in warm, well-drained soil.
Pre-cultivation and planting out by sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool location.
For Justynka F1 we recommend 1–2 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, powdery mildew, viruses.
