Gustar F1 produces round, very uniform fruits weighing 2.5 to 3 kg. The flesh is very firm and of excellent quality.
When processed, the skin cooks away without any problems or residue. This variety is highly recommended, especially for gastronomy and industrial cultivation.
The yield per hectare of Gustar F1 in professional cultivation is significantly higher than that of monovarietal Hokkaido varieties. The fruits store well.
Maturation time: 90 days.
Gustar F1 normally ranks strongly.
This variety grows well in warm, well-drained soils.
Pre-cultivation and planting out by sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool location.
For Gustar F1 we recommend 1–2 m² per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, powdery mildew, viruses.
