Description

Gray-ribbed, slightly flat-round.

Crioula Pataka is a very beautiful breed from South America.

The fruits are somewhat variable in shape and color and weigh 5–12 kg. Their pronounced ribs make them highly decorative and also excellent edible pumpkins.

Maturation time: 110 days.

Strong and powerful growing.

This variety grows well in warm, well-drained soils.

Pre-cultivation and planting out by sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.

Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool location.

The planting distance for pumpkins depends on the tendril behaviour.
