Beautiful, white Halloween pumpkin.
Casper produces fruits about 15–20 cm in diameter.
Compared to Lumia, these impress with their beauty and their exceptionally symmetrical round shape.
Besides being used for decoration and hollowing out, the white to light gray fruits are also excellent for the kitchen.
Maturation time: 95 days.
Moderate ranking behavior.
This variety grows well in warm, well-drained soils.
Pre-cultivation and planting out by sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool location.
The planting distance for pumpkins depends on the tendril behaviour.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, powdery mildew, viruses.
