Blue Kuri, known as Blue Hokkaido, bears flattened, grayish-blue fruits weighing about 1.5 kg.
Maturation time: 90 days.
Blue Kuri grows compact.
This variety grows well in warm, well-drained soils.
Pre-cultivation and planting out by sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool location.
For Blue Kuri we recommend 2 m² of space per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, powdery mildew, viruses.
