Big Moose bears beautifully shaped and colored light red fruits weighing 25–100 kg. The fruits are lightly ribbed with slightly lighter stripes, and occasionally a lighter fruit may also occur. The weight depends on the cultivation method; more spacious locations usually yield larger fruits.

This variety grows well in warm, well-drained soils.
Pre-cultivation and planting out by sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool location.
For Big Moose we recommend 3–4 square meters per plant.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, powdery mildew, viruses.
