Heart-shaped, easy-to-grow fruits. Amoro F1 is an excellent pumpkin.
Amoro is a new variety, bred in the Netherlands.
The heart-shaped fruits weigh about 1 to 1.3 kg and contain excellent pulp.
The compact growth makes it possible to plant one plant per square meter with a good yield of about 3–4 fruits.
Maturation time: approx. 90 days.
Amoro F1: bushy plant type.
This variety grows well in warm, well-drained soils.
Pre-cultivation and planting out by sowing from the end of April or direct sowing from the beginning of May.
Optimal germination occurs at 24–30°C. When sowing, place the pointed end of the seed downward or flatten it. Do not keep the seed too moist. After germination, place it in a bright, cool location.
The planting distance for pumpkins depends on the tendril behaviour.
Possible pests: snails, birds, mice, aphids, powdery mildew, viruses.
