Iwonna's strengths are its excellent flavor and excellent suitability as a cucumber. Iwonna F1 retains its color and aroma very consistently. Iwonna F1 flowers predominantly female and is free of bitter substances. Iwonna F1 is multi-resistant to, among other things, powdery mildew, downy mildew, viruses, and cucumber scab.
Sow indoors at 22–25°C from March to May, followed by pre-cultivation and transplanting; direct sowing with 2–3 seeds is possible from early May. The planting distance is approximately 150 x 30 cm. Harvesting takes place continuously from approximately July to October.
Cucumbers appreciate a good and balanced supply of nutrients as well as regular watering during dry periods, which ensures a continuous and bountiful harvest.
