Description

Dafne is a very early, high-yielding new variety with compact growth.

As a parthenocarpic variety, Dafne F1 flowers almost exclusively female. Dafne F1 is multi-resistant to, among other things, powdery mildew, downy mildew, and cucumber mosaic virus. A truly high-performing variety for outdoor use from early to late, which also lends itself well to being tended.

Sow indoors at 22-25°C from March to May, followed by pre-cultivation and planting. Direct sowing with 2-3 seeds is possible from early May. Harvesting takes place continuously from approximately July to October.

Pickling cucumbers appreciate a good and balanced supply of nutrients and regular watering during dry periods, which ensures a continuous and rich harvest.
