Description

Chantal F1 is an excellent, multi-resistant gherkin for pickling.

The striking feature of Chantal F1 is the uniformity of its small cucumbers, which are particularly suitable for pickling. Chantal has primarily female flowers and is free of bitter substances. Chantal F1 is multi-resistant to mildew, downy mildew, and viruses, among other pests.

Sow pre-grown seeds or sow directly, planting 2-3 seeds per patch. Plant from mid-May at a spacing of 150 x 30 cm. Harvest continuously from July to October.

Pickling cucumbers appreciate a good and balanced supply of nutrients, as well as regular watering during dry periods, which ensures a continuous and rich harvest.
