Description

Excellent, resistant cantaloupe melon.

Wrangler F1 is an excellent, typical cantaloupe melon with a reticulated and slightly ribbed rind.

The flesh is sweet, aromatic and has a beautiful orange color.

With a ripening period of about 80-85 days, it is one of the medium-early ripening varieties.

Wrangler F1 became popular because of its excellent productivity.

Wrangler F1 is resistant to powdery mildew and Fusarium, making it very safe to grow.

Like all melons, it needs a warm location and some care.

Melons grow moderately and need about 1-2 square meters per plant.

Melons love a mulch film.

In a nice, warm summer, the pulp contains more sugar than in a cold summer.

The seeds can be sown indoors from early April at 24-28°C, directly with 1-2 seeds per small pot (do not keep the pots too damp), or outdoors from mid-May in a warm location. Harvesting takes place in warm locations from late July.

Possible pests: aphids, mice, mildew.
