Early, high-yielding Galia melon.
Exelor is an early, reliable and high-yielding Galia-type melon.
The yellow-checked fruits reach a weight of about 1 to 1.5 kg and have green, aromatic and sweet flesh.
Exelor has many natural resistances, including against Fusarium, mildew and viral diseases.
Like all melons, Exelor requires a warm location and some care.
Melons grow moderately and need about 1–2 square meters per plant.
Melons do well on mulch film.
In a nice, warm summer, the pulp contains more sugar than in a cold summer.
The seeds can be sown indoors from early April at 24–28°C, directly with 1–2 seeds in the small pot (do not keep the pots too damp), or outdoors from mid-May in a warm location. Harvest in warm locations takes place from mid-July.
Possible pests: aphids, mice, mildew.
