Commonly known as spider flower or spider plant, is an annual flowering plant known for its distinctive appearance and attractive flowers.

The flowers are Cleome hassleriana's most striking feature. They grow in clusters atop tall, slender stems, resembling spider legs.

They prefer full sun but can also tolerate partial shade. Well-drained soil is ideal, although they are fairly tolerant of various soil types. They are relatively low-maintenance plants but benefit from regular watering, especially in dry conditions.
